Update… kinda…

So I made it to just about day 95 before I gave up on the project.  Though I’m sure you figured out that I gave up long ago, haha.

Anyway, I’d gotten so behind that it was becoming an unenjoyable chore to take the shot and update.  And then I forgot a day–legit forgot.  And that was it, I was done with the project.

But here I am now, a few months later, with this blog and this domain name.  Awesome.

So I’ve decided to revamp things a little, and come up with a different project/study that I can document here.

More on that coming later… I more just kinda wanted to say “hey, I’m still alive, I just stopped doing this and here’s why”.

Hella Behind

I know.  I’m horrible.  I’ve still been shooting every day, but haven’t felt like posting much of anything.  Guh.  Sorry!

Behind again…

I know, I know :/  But things have been so crazy that I just haven’t had time to update (or the desire to).  Still shooting.  Will likely update Sunday, after things settle down a bit.

Day 87: Nerd

I got these fake glasses for a shoot this weekend, and tried them on.  Since I am wearing my real glasses today, I decided to take a pic to make sure they looked ok on me, because I can’t get far enough away from the mirror to be able to tell.  And then I started playing around with the camera and came up with this shot, which I decided to use for today’s portrait.

And the glasses will be perfect for the shoot, which will KICK ASS.

Day 86: Swan

Sunday July 11 I pose-coached at a shoot, and got one look in myself with that photographer.  The makeup artist, Christin (who’s totally awesome) and I dropped a note to another photographer we’ve worked with and got him to meet up with us to shoot for an hour.  After our second (impromptu) shoot, Christin and I had lunch and then went to check out this park over by Schaumburg.

There were swans there that were incredibly friendly, despite having babies.  They let Christin and I get super close to them, and later even let us hand feed them!  It was super cool, even if one of them did want to eat my toes!

Here’s one of the adult swans walking around the grass, and below is me having just fed one of them a flower that was on the ground.

Day 85: Puppy Love

Saturday July 10 I ended up going to a pool party with a friend.  I was dumb and didn’t bring my camera, so I didn’t get a shot at the party.  Instead, I waited until I got home to get a shot… and Dog was very excited to see me, so here we are.

Day 84: Gold

Found this awesome gold jacket on the clearance rack at Sears when I was looking for some other stuff for upcoming shoots.  I didn’t buy it, but I couldn’t resist trying it on… and shooting in it

I’m kinda tempted to buy it, ’cause it does look pretty awesome in these pics. But in person, it’s kinda fugs.

Day 83: Walk Walk Fashion Baby

I got new shoes on Day 83, thanks much to someone who was grateful for my help with something  With the upcoming fashion show I’m in, I opted to not only try them on, but to practice my runway walk in the hallway.
